RULES AND TIPS
1.
You are locked in a room with one goal: FIND A WAY OUT IN 60 MINUTES!
(For player safety, the door isn’t really locked, but your goal is to stop the timer shown on a monitor inside the room)
2.
Observe, explore, find information, keys, codes and various other objects. For every padlock, every lock etc, there is a combination code or a key for opening, that you need to find or figure out. Don’t panic if you can’t solve all the puzzles. Think and try to find a solution patiently and carefully.
3.
Play as a team, help each other. If there are several tasks that can be done simultaneously, split into groups and share information, until you figure it out together.
4.
Our game-master oversees the game from their control room, using audio and video surveillance (we don’t record, nor broadcast anything). If you need help, you can ask the game-master by saying: “4rooms, I need help…” (then explaining what you need the help for).
5.
Things that can’t be touched, opened, or moved are marked with a “STOP” label. This doesn’t mean that a puzzle can’t be solved by observation.
6.
Solving the last puzzle lets you stop the timer on the place marked as “EXIT.”
If you need to leave the room before that, for any reason, you can. This means the game will be stopped.
7
While solving the puzzles, please be careful not to injure yourself, or one of your team-mates. All the 4rooms games are designed for fun and don’t endanger anyone’s rights, or liberties. All the players participate voluntarily.
8.
Children under the age of 12 can participate only if accompanied by an adult.
